Bringing Out The Scarves

Instead of brining a sweater to work, I decided on this skull scarf I got for my birthday last month. Surprisingly, a scarf kept me warmer than I thought it would! 

My go-to hair style for work days is this top bun. It's messy, easy, and looks way better in the morning than..shall I say, now. lol.

Surprises in Denver

{Amazing food from a local pub in Denver. The pizza was gluten-free too!! SO YUM}

I had such a lovely time in Denver this past weekend. These pictures were taken at the zoo. The weather was perfect! Originally, I was going to pair the blouse with jean shorts or white. However, I put the mint shorts next to the blouse, and thought to myself, "hmm this could work." I believe it did!

I'm really into the pop of diverse colors from the mint jeans and the purple purse. Lately, I love mixing and matching colors. 

I also have an announcement to make..

I'M ENGAGED!! :D

Needless to say, I am a very happy lady!!

Happy Monday! I wanted to take pictures outside over the weekend, but the weather was not friendly. Between the snow, wind, and partial rain, it was just impossible to take decent photos! So, I opted for some pictures in my living room and a couple in my bedroom due to time restraints. . (:

I love the contrast of the horizontal and vertical stripes on this blouse. The colors are so unique and definitely not something I would normally gravitate towards. Loving blouses lately, btw. I can't stop buying them! You can dress them up or down which is a huge convenience. 

I also wanted to have a little fun and mix heels with socks. 

For some reason, I like how nothing matches. It looks funky.
