Sequins Obsessed

 Outfit Choice #1
 Outfit Choice #2

{Photo 1: Glitter Flats, T.J. Maxx; IKat scarf, gift; Other Photos: Sequin Sweater, H&M; Black Shorts, Trina Turk; Jean Skirt, Hollister; Flats, Tory Burch; Bracelets, Kate Spade NY and Tory Burch}

I am the definition of a 'girly girl' in which I love glitter, sparkles, and sequins. I bet you couldn't guess? ;)
I snapped up this sweater at H&M a few weekends ago shopping with one of my girlfriends. It was the perfect opportunity to wear it Thursday, because the weather was in the low 70's by evening! However, I wanted to pair it with shorts or a skirt. I opted for the black shorts, but I think it looks cute with both options. Needless to say, I am loving this sweater (and taking pictures of the sweater lol).
I cannot wait for the weather to cool down, so I can wear this beauty more often :)

Have a wonderful weekend, beauties!

Monday's are always more cheerful with a new bag in hand featuring bright colors :)

Glitter, Sparkles, & Sequins

Sequin Heart T-Shirt (Victoria's Secret, Pink), Pink Cropped Pants (Target), Shoes (Sam Edelman), Bracelets (Old, T&Co, Juicy Couture)

I was in a very girly mood yesterday, but I wasn't feeling a dress or skirt. So, I opted for some neon pink pants and a gold sparkled heart t-shirt.
I LOVE glitter, sparkles, & sequins :D

Traverse City Getaway

Ruffled Blouse (F21, similar here), Floral Shorts (Nordstrom Rack, cute & inexpensive pair here), Sequined Tank (Express), Wedges (Tory Burch, I love this pair, here), Clutch (Louis Vuitton), Necklace (Antique), Bracelets (Juicy Couture, Kenneth Cole, Old).

Here are some goofy pictures Matt took of me before going out to dinner last weekend. We stayed at a beautiful bed & breakfast in Traverse City for a little weekend getaway. The house was amazing! I wish I took more pictures, though. It had such gorgeous Victorian decor and details :)
Sorry for the poor quality of the photos - The lighting was not sufficient, to say the least!

I love these floral shorts. I found them last year at Nordstrom Rack for around $11. They're so comfortable and still look dressy. I loved my outfit this night, even though I was told I jumped out of 1982. Hey, the 80's are back, people!!!

I hope everyone is having a fantastic week <3

Disney Princess

Blouse (Nordstrom Rack), Skinnies (A&F), Skinny Belt (Tory Burch, here), Bag (Louis Vuitton Artsy, MM), Patent Leather Flats (Coach), Silver Ring (Tiffany & Co.), Other Rings (Vintage, Handmade), Bracelets (From Boutiques in Colorado and Vintage), Sunnies (Burberry)

The title of this post isn't saying that I am a Disney princess (Although, wouldn't that be amazing?!), but rather my blouse has a Cinderella theme on it! There are little pictures of a prince and princess, carriage, and little mice! I'm in love with this blouse. I bought it this weekend at the Rack. I could NOT leave without it.
I also just ordered this Tory Burch belt from Nordstrom a week or so ago, and I love it.. It makes a simple t-shirt and jeans looks so sophisticated. I love that belts are back in style now!

I find myself gravitating more towards casual, simple outfits, almost always, unless I have a special event to attend. When stalking numerous fashion blogs, I envy their dressy looks (i.e., Blair from Atlantic-Pacific, LOVE!), but I have recently come to embrace my every day, girl-next-door style.

Do you consider yourself to have more of a dressy style or casual?

Statement Scarf

Blouse (T.J. Maxx), Scarf (Target, similar here), Jeans (A&F), Shoes (Calvin Klein, last seen here), Belt (Steve Madden), Silver Heart Charm Bracelet (Juicy Couture, here), Other Bracelets and Rings (Vintage, Handmade)

Sometimes an item as simple as a patterned scarf can make any outfit stand out. I really like the tribal print that's seen a lot this season. The one above, that I bought from Target, was only about $10 (Even better).
I found this blouse at T.J. Maxx a few months ago for about $15. My point being, it's completely acceptable to have your shoes cost more than your entire outfit, right? ;)
I love these color block flats. The bright colors really intensify the orange and pink in the scarf!

Also, isn't my mom's bedroom gorgeous? She's in the middle of decorating it. The room is still lacking window treatments and some more artwork. The prints above her bed are from Japan in the 1950's when my Opa was in the service!
I just love the turquoise touches she added (my input, btw).

Excuse the quality of the picutres. I am still working on a better camera!

Anyway, tomorrow is FRIDAY ! I hope you all have fabulous weekend plans!
