Snow Leopard in a Garden

{Floral Top, Target; Leopard Cardigan, Express; Skinny Jeans, A&F; Shoes, Sam Edelman; Bag, Balenciaga; Bracelets, Juicy Couture, Nordstrom Rack; Necklace, T&Co}

The title of this post has a point, I promise!
When I walked down the stairs yesterday morning, my dad said something along the lines of, "wow. wild prints you have going on there..a snow leopard and flowers?" Even though he's right, I was offended and said, "this is in style now, dad, mixing patterns!"In style or not, it's definitely an eye-catcher. Regardless of my dad's goofy comment, I like the unique combination I made at the last minute that morning, and after this endeavor, I may start to mix patterns more often!

Manitou Springs

Striped Top (F21), Chambray Button Up (Vintage), Peach Jeans (T.J. Maxx), Belt (J.Crew), White Studded Sandals (Sam Edelman), Bag (Balenciaga), Necklace (Francesca's), Bracelets (From Boutique's in Manitou Springs, Thank you, Boyfriend <3), Rings (Vintage)

I had a new photographer for the weekend in Colorado. My wonderful boyfriend snapped some photos of me while we got lunch and went shopping in Manitou Springs! It is such a beautiful area, and the shops were so cute. I wanted to buy all of the jewelry. He bought me a few pieces that I now wear everyday :) We also found a gluten-free cafe, and I was able to have a gluten free sandwich and potato salad. It was sooo yummy!
I wanted to wear something casual and versatile. I found these studded sandals at Nordstrom Rack and couldn't pass them up. They're also really comfortable!

We had such a great time in Colorado!

& Happy Mother's Day to all those moms out there! Tomorrow my mom and I are going
shopping to celebrate her day ;)

It's a Boy!

Mint Blazer and Lace Pencil Skirt (F21), Sequin Top (Greylin, C/O Piperlime), Taupe Tights (J.Crew), Bag (Balenciaga), Tan Shoes (Coach), Necklace (Vintage), Lime Quartz Ring (Macy's), Bracelets (T&Co, Antique, Handmade), Lip Gloss (Chanel, 166).

No, I am NOT expecting!! Yesterday was the baby shower for my soon-to-be-born nephew, James Marshall. Lauren, the mom-to-be, looked so cute and happy. It was great spending time and catching up with family, and they received beautiful gifts! James will be a spoiled little baby :)
The food was at a wonderful italian restaurant, and they made me a gluten-free plate too! I was so thankful.. the mimosas were amazing as well!

I was going for pastels to represent the baby shower theme. I also wanted to look really girly, because I feel it was an appropriate occasion to do so! I wanted to wear my coach sandals, and it was a bit chilly. So, I wore these taupe J.Crew tights with them (seen before with the lace pencil skirt). I think the taupe and light pink work really well together.

I can't wait to be an auntie!!
Such an exciting time

The Windy City

Blouse (T.J. Maxx), Belt (Steve Madden), Pants (Guess, old), Necklace (F21), Sunnies (Chanel), Flats (Tory Burch), Bracelets (T&Co, Francesca's, and Vintage).

Bag (Balenciaga)

Well, I wanted to take some pretty pictures outside, but I failed to remember that I live in a south suburb of Chicago, and it is always windy this time of year...

I bought these pants years and years ago, and I they have always been huge on me. However, belts have become an increasingly important aspect of my wardrobe as of late. So, I decided to dig out the gray pants and try to rock them :)
I love the boyfriend feel, and I think the rhinestones on the back pocket are just too cute! Sticking with the boyfriend look, I paired the jeans with a baggy blouse and flats. It's a messy outfit, but indefinitely comfortable and perfect for yet another busy day!

I bought this necklace at F21 about a year ago, and it spruces up any simply, and let's be honest, boring outfit. I always get compliments on it, and I found it for about $8! I love that store!
Finally, I wanted to take a picture of my Balenciaga, because I think this bag is perfect for hectic days, and I like the combination of the ivory, gray, tan, and white with this look.

I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

P.S. - I apologize for my awful hair. My mom is coloring it today!

Instagram Love

Here are just a few photos I posted on Instagram recently. I am addicted to this app. If you have an iPhone, you have to check it out, but keep in mind that you may be glued to your phone (if you aren't already). Happy Thursday!

I realize these photos are in random order, but some of them are purchases I made last weekend (i.e., Kate Spade oxfords, Kenneth Cole gold link bracelet, and Rebecca Minkoff cosmetic case). All of these purchases were found at T.J. Maxx - LOVE that store!
Also, a beautiful Valentine's Day gift from my love, who is currently serving in Afghanistan. The lovely white Balenciaga <3 <3
